Forge Motorsport has developed the Toyota GR Corolla and Yaris GR Inlet Duct to improve both aesthetics and performance. This carbon fiber part is designed to lower inlet temperatures during high-performance driving, using 3D scanning and CAD simulations to optimize the size and geometry of the duct. Unlike the stock airbox inlet, the Forge version allows for greater airflow and more consistent cold air intake, reducing the risk of heat soak and fluctuations in inlet temperatures. This consistency is essential in preventing engine power reductions caused by high temperature peaks, ensuring the Yaris GR delivers optimal performance, especially during full throttle.
Track testing showed a significant drop in inlet air temperatures from 42Ā°C to between 35-36Ā°C when using the Forge inlet duct, compared to the stock duct.
